Make money on X with sponsored posts.
A practical guide for X creators of every size, and how XReach, the X creator marketing marketplace, pays creators for sponsored posts and profile placements.
X creators can make money with sponsored posts: businesses pay them to publish a message to their followers. On XReach creators set their own price, choose the campaigns they publish, and keep their price minus a 20% platform fee once the campaign has ended with everything delivered.
Ways to make money on X
- X's own programs, such as creator revenue sharing and subscriptions, have their own eligibility rules set by X.
- Sponsored posts and placements: brands pay you to post about them or feature them on your profile. This is what XReach does, and it doesn't require a large following.
- Your own products: selling services, courses or products to your audience.
How to earn from sponsored posts on XReach
- Sign in with X (X's own sign-in; XReach never sees your password).
- Choose the niches you accept and set your price per post, within your limit.
- Switch on the profile placements you're willing to offer and price them.
- Open your dashboard: campaigns that match appear with the exact text.
- Publish the ones you like, and keep everything up until the campaign ends.
How much can you earn?
It depends on your followers, engagement and country, and on how many campaigns match you. See the X creator rates by follower range. You keep your price minus a 20% fee.
When you get paid
Only after a campaign ends and every placement was in place while it ran. Payouts aren't open yet: earnings from delivered campaigns are recorded on the Payouts tab and can be withdrawn once the payout provider is connected (from $10).
Tips for creators
- Pick niches you really post about; campaigns are matched by niche.
- A lower price matches more campaigns.
- Don't delete or edit a sponsored post, and keep placements up until the end: posts are checked daily.
- Disclose sponsored posts as paid partnerships.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a lot of followers to make money on X?
No. On XReach campaigns are bought per follower range starting at 0–500 followers, so small and emerging creators get campaigns priced for their audience.
Does XReach post without my permission?
No. Nothing is posted until you press Publish on a campaign, and you can decline any campaign.
What happens if I delete a sponsored post?
Posts are read daily while the campaign runs. A deleted or edited post isn't paid. After the campaign ends it's yours to keep or delete.
